In his most recent books, Piketty offers a global history of inequality in its economic, social, political, and intellectual dimensions, arguing that is moved by the struggle ideologies. To take part this battle ideas, he conceives new ideal model society, ‘participative socialism’, as an egalitarian alternative to dominant neoproprietarian ideology dangerous resurgence nationalism populism.
